Puppet magic
Magical! I have created my first animated ‘gif’ file to showcase ‘Ziggy’, my newest creative endeavour!
Over the weekend, I attended a murder mystery dinner with some friends. I am on the far right of this animation, sporting a fine mascara moustache. Ziggy was my puppet; I was cast as a ventriloquist in the 1930s, but I didn’t have enough time to make a puppet with a moving mouth, so a rotating head was as far as I got. He is made of plaster – I coloured him with black ink, modelled on Victorian vaudeville seaside acts. I’ll put up some better images soon. I just thought I’d bring the picture alive! Enjoy!
