Birthday drawings
Here’s a portion of a drawing I just finished as a birthday gift. It details many of the places and antics the birthday boy and I have got up to in the past few years. It’s his 33rd birthday so although it’s slightly corny, I managed to find about that many items to put into the drawing. The whole thing is drawn out on an A3 sheet – I think the actual drawing is about A4, though I tried to calculate the ‘golden ratio’ for aesthetic purposes. I think I got it right, but well, I’m happy with the outcome anyway!
I am especially pleased as this image hasn’t been photoshopped at all – it is one complete drawing with pretty much no messy mistakes – I am improving little by little. Enjoy! I you’d like to see the complete drawing and some other close ups, try the illustration section.
