It’s all over – my Hallowe’en zombie countdown ends today because the day has finally reached us! I managed to draw a total of twenty over the month of October and you can see all of them here. I started with a simple zombie on Day 1, moving through traditional outfits like witches, ghosts and cats and into the realms of silliness with a pantomime horse, ‘Dedward’ and a frog that had been run over. I asked for suggestions through Facebook and Twitter, so fourteen of the total were requested by other people, the others were Zombies I just had to draw for myself. See them all in more detail on my twitpic feed - they run from #DailyDrawing number 139 all the way to 158.
I’ve had so much fun doing a series of drawings on a theme that I’m rather tempted to try something like this again. I’m a little sorry that Hallowe’en has arrived before I could do ten more! Added to that is the fact that the zombies seemed to get better and more ambitious as time went on. If you can think of anything you’d like to see, or you have a fun idea, please do get in touch. I’m always up for a challenge!

It’s not all zombies, dogs, bunnies and cartoons here at Analogue girl HQ – I have also been doing a series of rather official posters for Shipowners Club in London. Now, it hasn’t been issued yet, but I’m allowed to give you a wee look at bits of it. For now, I’ll let you see the complete tool kit for repairing damage to a ship’s hull! Yep, it’s all screwdrivers and epoxy – serious kit. You might remember the ball of string and other bits in my #DailyDrawings feed from a while back (Numbers 126 and 129). More on this poster as it becomes available…
Anyway, this is where they ended up, along with a couple of images of workmen doing some repairs. More on this as it becomes available!

GGGAAAAHH! UGGGGHHHH…. Yep, the zombies are coming.
For the four weeks running up to hallowe’en, I have been drawing a zombie every day – each one in a different spooky costume. I have been putting out twitter and facebook requests for suggestions each day. There have been zombies dressed as pumpkins, ghosts, Elvis and bumble bees – even Jedward (or should I say, Deadward) made an appearance. Some of these guys even ended up on the Illustration Rally blog earlier, which made my day! Just another week to go before they’re all over! See them all in my twitpic gallery, from #DailyDrawing 139 onwards. Be afraid…
